"Beer before liquor, never been sicker"
This weekend I learned how true this old adage is. Blah, first time I've really woken up with a hangover. But it was good times on Friday at JDLP/Kyle/Steve's, saw some cool costumes (myself, I went as Kevin Saavedra...just put on some industrial earmuffs) and had some good liquor and good times all around I suppose. I'd especially like to thank those I walked home with (Jeremy, Rachel King, there was one more...Kate? Shantal? I can't remember...), Lord knows what would've happened to me if I didn't have anyone else there.

Yesterday, I cooked! Not some crappy, semi-instant, mostly-canned concoction, I actually cooked a bona-fide meal! Twas a pasta dish with roasted tomatoes and bell-peppers. It turned out pretty good too! This begins a whole new chapter for me...
Afterwards, I decided to take it easy that night and spend time with the roomies. Watched the Family Guy movie (twas alright at best, really disappointing. Supposedly it was just three episodes that were connected and put together on DVD, even as separate episodes, they would've been disappointing) and SNL.

Today, I saw my parents for the first time in a long time (well, long for me, considering that I usually see them on average every week or every other week). We went out for some good old fashioned Korean BBQ, it had been forever since I had it, and it was gooood. Expensive, but goooood. I was definitely feeling the food coma at the library afterwards, hehe.
Funny story, the girls from upstairs got locked out of their apartment, so they had to spend almost all day down here, hehe. I guess from now on we'll be having a spare key of their's...

Quote of the day: "Oh man, I totally forgot how to swim!" -Lance Armstrong
(from last night's SNL, the skit was that he was in a triathlong...ruled on the biking, sucked hard on the other two stages)
