Today I realized that I made a big mistake about 4 months ago.
I wish that advising sessions would have been available before for me before I had picked classes for the Spring. Or at the very least, I wish I had done my research better.
Just in case any budding CS majors are reading this, here is a hint: unless the professors are REALLY good and you've got a LOT of free time and don't mind abandoning the social aspect of your life a bit, do not take CS162 and 170 together. Save yourself the agony, just a lil bit.
In other news, sometimes I really don't know what I want. Am I hanging on to things I "should" want and keeping myself from the things I really do want? Or maybe it's the other way around?
I wish I had clear answers for all the burning questions.
But maybe it's more interesting that way?
I also don't want to let people down....
Quote of the day: (on the topic of "taking 3 CS courses in a semester will be time-consuming")
Advisor (Barabara Hightower): "Do you have a social life?"
Kye: "ah...a little...I can get rid of it..."
