Alright, let's see what's been happening....

Wednesday(7/16):

Spent most of the day with James, Brice, and Justin. Went out to get good ol Americanized-Chinese food at Panda Express (the chicken with snow peas was actually pretty good though) and went back to Justin's to do the usual: watch anime/play videogames. Hmmm...actually, we never got around to the anime, even though between me, Brice, and James we have way too many hours of stuff to watch. The arcade-deck controllers that Brice and Justin had ordered arrived some time ago, so we gave them a badly needed test run with Guilty Gear X2. Unfortunately, one of the controllers was apparently not working like right out of the box, and the other one wasn't working tooooo well. It was alright, but I guess it mainly seemed to be a problem with the controller itself, not that it was malfunctioning or anything like taht. Brice/Justin didn't seem too pleased with their purchases. Ah well. C'est la vie. Later that night, we finally got around to the discount bowling that we had been tryin to get off the ground since god knows when. twas aggravating tryin to plan this shit out, since everybody I know is the sux0rz at planning. All I can do is point out their mistakes, as apparently I"m not a good planner myself. (sigh) Next time I'm involved in a social event, I should just take control of the damn thing and figure it all out myself, I'm tired of being pissed off at uncooperative/incompetent people. ^_^;;; that was kindofa....weird thing I did there.....Anyways, we still had fun, even though my performance was a bit lacking, especially since I would have a streak of good bowling followed by a longer streak of extreme suckage. It was still fun hangin out with everyone, especially now that our days are numbered.

Thursday:

Speaking of days being numbered, can't forget about the family. First vacation opportunity in a long time, so we took off in our car for Yosemite for a day. Eh....we left kindof late and the drive took about 3 hours, and we ate lunch after arriving, so by the time we finally got there, there wasn't much left we could do in terms of tours and whatnot. Instead, we just kinda explored the place the best we could, especially the waterfall. Damn, taht place was cool! The trail kinda led by the bottom of the waterfall where it was like a stream, but you could climb a bunch of rocks to get to the actual basin of the waterfall, which is exactly waht I did. It was a bit arduous, and I imagine that's what real rock-climbing is kinda like (except the real thing would be a lot more vertical). Still, it was all worth it to get to the top and gaze upon the waterfall's magnificent glory and to feel the wind and mist pouring down on me. Getting up took a bit of effort, but going back down was a real killer. Them rocks were made for climbin up, not down. Took me longer goin back than it did to get to the top. Before headin back, we ate dinner. Like any attraction or tourist spot, the food was somewhat pricey for mediocre quality. Next time we go there, we'll probably be like camping or at least stayin for more than one day. Obviously there's too much to see in a single day. I especially wanna rent a bike and ride through the forests of Yosemite. That'd be awesome!

Friday:

Went to see The Italian Job (finally! I can cross it off my list!) with some peepz (Dan, Kevin, Nancy, Brent, Glendon). Great movie, similar in vein to Ocean's Eleven, but I'm not sure which movie I liked better. Italian Job had what Ocean's Eleven was missing, and that's high-speed car chases and a hot chick. However, the Italian Job had only half the characters that appeared in OE (thus, half the varying, kooky personalities) and didn't have as AWESOME a soundtrack as OE. Both are great "caper" movies that are just plain fun to watch. Later that night after work I went and saw Bad Boys 2 with some other peepz (Babst, STeve, and Dan again). Not as good as the Italian JOb, but definitely a lot more fun and more action-packed. Also a hell of a lot funnier. However, the movie was about a half hour too long for this type of movie, especially considering there were not one, not two, but THREE car chase sequences. I mean, I didn't exactly pay to see 2 Fast 2 Furious here... Also the end sequence was just absolutely ridiculous. I'm not gonna spoil what happens, but those of you who've seen it know what I mean. There was no reason to have them go to....well, y'know...

Saturday:

Hmm? oh nothing happened on Saturday....got a haircut, went shoppin with mom, worked, played Halo a bit...mundane day really....

Sunday:

more or less the same, worked, went shoppin with dad (bought Harry Potter book and 5 old Playstation games), fiddled around with the computer, laundry, whatever.

Monday (today):

Hot, really hot. First day in a while that I had the house to myself, cuz my dad went back to work today. Just kinda went back to what I usually do when I got nothin better to do: games/TV/anime. Lord knows I got a shitload of games and anime to get through, and there's less than a month of summer to go!! I can't believe it!!!! We're freaking going off to college!!!!!!!!!

Quote of the day(s):

Wednesday: (after hearing from a girl about how cheap her boyfriend his) "What?? You should kick him in the balls and go 'Hello?? Are these working???' " -Brice Miyasaki....hahahahah, funniest thing i've heard in a LONG time!

Friday: "Feels like a bag.......upps, never mind ,it's his kidney...." -Will Smith, BB2

Saturday: "dude....I just got the fattest boner I've ever had in my life...." -Scott Groobin, quoting someone else
