Gah!!! I forgot about my precious blog!!! I've neglected you so much!!! I've let all my loyal fans (all 2.5 of them) down!!! I must rectify this..

When left we left off, I believe i was struggling to get a program to function correctly I'm happy to say that I managed to fix all the bugs on time and hopefully it will meet the professor's approval. But enough on that...

Uh..let's see....I menioned a while ago that I found out about a DDR7th mix machine at the Mountain MIke's on Clayton. Well, on Thursday, I went to go play it, and I was pleased to find out that it was everything I remember about it with the added benefit of close-to-home-ness. It was nice, like saying hello to an old friend again. Plus the crowd seemed friendlier than the normal cold-hearted Asians that normally haunt DDR machines. I must dust off my skills, they have gotten rusty. Must train harder....

I dedicated a good portion of my weekend to watching anime by myself and with some friends. It had been a while since I had seen some new anime, and I was eager to get back in the game. I need a DVD machine...

Maritan Successor Nadesico: Based on the three episodes I saw, it seems like a near perfect blend of action, comedy, drama, and romance. Really good anime shows manage to blend all types of genres together, and this series manages to do it. The story invovles a private company sending a civilan battleship out to defeat an alien species that has its base on Mars and has destroyed the previous Martian colony and is currently waging war on Earth. With instantly likeable characters such as the bubbly (and somewhat naive) Captain Yurika, the recluded, yet hopeful Akito, the mysterious, silent (and very critical) Ruri, and the crazy, reckless Gai, this series does a good job and should get better as it goes along.

.hack//sign: Intriguing....It seems to be about some kind of MMORPG that is fully immersive and interactive and lets players actually get absorbed into the world. However, one boy seems to have the misfortune of having the inability to log out, and it seems that some kind of royal guard unit believes that he has something to do with a group that has been cheating... I'm almost watching this solely for finding out more about this gigantic world....OH yeah, and some of the girls are really cute ^_^;

Galaxy Police: A spinoff of the Tenchi Muyo series about a boy named Seina who often runs into bad luck and misfortunes. After a series of crazy events, he somehow gets tricked into joining the Galaxy Police. Unfortunately, I've only seen 2 episodes of this, and I need to find someone who can get me more. I wish I had cable...

All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku: Seems like a fun, lighthearted series that doesn't try to take itself too seriously. Its about a divorced couple, the father who is a mad scientist and the mother who is a top executive at a heavy arms company, fighting over custody of their child. The father, however, stole a battle android prototype from teh company before getting divorced and placed the brain of his son's dying cat into it. Now the android is trying to live her life as a normal girl, but still has feline and militaristic tendencies, especially when it has to do with protecting her family from the mother's attempts at reclaiming her child for herself. Very fun!

Orgazmo: Not an anime, but a veeeeeery..... interesting movie I saw. Well, it's by the creators of South Park, so what else would you expect besides crude humor. Tasteless? Yes. But it was still pretty funny, and ridiculous at times. And disgusting. Hehe, I enjoyed it.
