Catching up with past events as always.

Actually, there has been nothing of particular note these past few days, which is why I haven't felt too compelled to write in my blog. I've been programming, I've been hanging out with friends, I've been taekwondoing. What more is there to say really? Nothing.

Mr. Lou came back to teach our programming class. I like him better than the sub teacher we had been having for a while. He went back and explained a lot of concepts better than she did. He seems like a much nicer and much more experienced programmer than she does. I wonder if she's actually done any programming. I know that Mr. Lou has had a lot of experience in the programming world. The other lady knew what she was talking about, but i wonder if she really had any experience in programming. (shrugs)

Oh yeah, I've been taking advantage of that free pay-per-view service that's been going on recently on channel 99. I finally saw Ocean's 11, which I thought was an excellent piece of film. I liked it because of its simplicity. It didn't try to bog the audience down with ethics, or morals, or a hidden message or theme for us to decipher. It was just a film that was meant to be watched and enjoyed for what the actors were doing onscreen. I also watched Iron Monkey for a second time, which is always fun to watch. It's a nice blend of action, comedy, and drama. Really cool fight scenes, characters with many different levels, and a nice story that wrapped itself up pretty well. I also saw Not Another Teen Movie. Eh, it was alright I guess. it was funny recognizing all the scenes and movies that had been parodized. There were a lot from recent movies like She's All That, American Pie, American Beauty, Varsity Blues, Bring it On, and Can't Hardly Wait. However, I also recognized some of the older tributes like 16 Candles and Ferris Bueller's Day Off (although there was a bunch of stuff that I missed). However, there was an awful lot of....T&A in this movie. I mean, there was even one character that was just naked throughout the entire movie. Did they really need that? Not that I minded :-P, but it just seemed unnnecessary and kinda tacked on. (shrugs) OH well, who am I to complain?
