Shades of Green

Well, it's been a while since I last posted in this thing. I guess I've just been too busy with work. Or rather, a more accurate description is that I ran out of time due to my massive amounts of procrastinating. Even while wrtiting this blog entry, I still procrastinate. I have finals to study for, English assignments to do, a Chemistry lab to work on, trivia questions to write, and a script for a play to work on. And what did I do today? The exact opposite of everything I just listed. (sigh). Maybe I'm stressing too much. Either way, it'll all be over in a week's time, and I'll finally be able to work on some stuff that I might have a passion for and just might spark my interest a little. After 11 years of schooling, it's been a long time since my interest has truly been sparked within an educational institution.

It's funny how Northgate High School has systematically ruined every single subject of science in my life so far. Biology: Ted Tellian. A great guy, but an absolutely horrible teacher. I can't remember any words from his mouth that really made a lot of sense. Physiology: Dennis Ashlock and Linda Bandrowski. Two teachers to teach a single class, and the material still can't be explained in a coherent fashion. This class was an utter waste of time. If you think about the amount of time each student spent in that class and the number of students enrolled in the class (approximately 150 students * 180 hours), you come up with a grand total of about 27,100 hours. Think about how much could have been accomplished with 27,100 hours of effort!! We could've cured breast cancer or AIDS from all that time we wasted in that class! Chemisty: Highsmith. One quarter, that's all it took. Three quarters of a wonderful man named Jayson Chang was spent slowly rebuilding my confidence in the Northgate Science Department, and Mr. HIghsmith ruined all that work in less than a month. Pity. That man needs to be shot. Physics: Lawrence Muilenburg looks to be the saving grace of the Northgate Science Department. Of course, looks can be decieving... We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Today was a fairly lax day altogether. In Spoden, we did nothing yet again. It's funny how the discussion at our table always seems to gravitate towards weed and other drugs. I feel like a fish out of water, really. I always have somethign to contribute to the conversation, but it's usually either a reason why I don't do drugs or a funny anecdote, usually about drunken antics. It's kinda funny how Spoden seems to be within earshot of our conversation, yet never really picks up on what we're saying. Or maybe he doesn't care? I know he's done his fair share of acid in the past :-P

After school, I noticed that everyone seemed to be more down than usual. Everyone seemed tired, exhausted, sick, mentally damaged... I had a feeling there was a problem when I seemed to be the most energetic of people. I was expecting just to get a ride home from Chris, but I somehow ended up staying over at Justin and Leo's for a few hours before I went home. Even though I didn't really do anything besides watch some anime and watch Justin play Phantasy Star Online, it was pretty relaxing just crashing at someone else's place. I fell asleep on the sofa for a few minutes, before I was somewhat rudely awakened to candy being dropped onto my stomach. I was irritated, but it was nice just being able to sit and not think about anything except for cute fuzzy hamsters in search of littly candies. Hamtaro is perhaps the cutest show I have ever seen! It is just so unbearably cute!!! Ai-yaah, I needed to watch Justin blow away some monsters in PSO after watching that. My masculinity definintely took a hit after finding out that I was actually enjoing watching taht show.

I actually found myself longing for the comfort of my own home, which is odd cause I don't particularly like this apartment. I guess I just wanted to be in a place where I knew I could just crash or sprawl out on the sofa and not feel like I'm imposing. Justin/Leo's place is way too nice and clean, and I feel like my presence is dirtying up their house somehow. Also, I always manage to somehow take more than a fair share of food ("I want some taquitos!"). They never seem to mind, but for some reason, I feel like I'm being a big nuisance.

Anyways, here's some stuff I wanted to mention the other days:
Philip Won....WORST BLACK BELT EVER! (planned quote of the day for taht day: "Mr. Won... 50 knuckle pushups in the back on the hard-wood!" -De'on Gilmore
Good luck on DP tryouts everyone (and since it's over now, congratulations to those who made it)
Kaiser shift....anyone wanna join Thursdays?
Galaxy Police is some pretty funny shit, hehe...

Well, that's it really. There's nothing left to do, except prepare for the last final days. The last push. The final hurrah. I think I'll go to sleep, and when I say that, I know I'm not going to for a fairly long time. Peace out, guys, and hang in there.
