This morning I woke to my mom screaming. She sounded like she was in pain. I probably should have jumped out of bed and ran to see what was the matter, but I was pretty tired... Anyways, it didn't matter because my dad came to her attention and asked what was wrong. She gleefully replied in Korean that Korea had scored a last minute goal.
Damn, Korea is really tearing it up this year! We were only praying for at least one victory, and look how far the Korea team has come now! This is the first year that I've actually been somewhat enthusiastic about the World Cup, since Korea is co-hosting the games. I had been kinda interested in past years, but Korea was usually knocked out in the first rounds and I didn't really care about many of the other teams, except maybe Brazil and the United States. It's certainly been an interesting fight so far, and I can't wait to see what happens next! Whether they go on to the finals or are eliminated in their next game, i'm still proud of how my country's team did this year. Man, I haven't had this much KP in a long time. :-P
Programming: Eh, the cracker teacher (Ray, that was for you) was alright. At least I understood everything she said, which is more than I can say for some of my classmates. It didn't come to me all at once, I had to examine everything a bit at a time and it slowly came to me as she kept talking. It helped that I've played a lot of old skool Nintendo games, since a lot of the older stuff uses hex values similar to what we learned today. Actually, most of the binary concept and theory stuff we learned isn't actually too helpful for our first project, but it's ok. As long as I get stuff done, it 's cool.
Didn't accomplish too much after that. OH well, tomorrow's another day.
