Shades of Green

It's over..... Junior year is over.... It's kinda hard to comprehend that.... It seemed like just yesterday that I stepped into a strange new land. Well, actually, Northgate was pretty familiar to me because of marching band, but still, it seems like just yesterday. Now I'm one of the top dogs of the school? It's a surreal feeling, much like the one I felt when I first touched down in Hawaii. Maybe the full feeling won't hit me until September, but it's hard to believe I actually made it this far...

Spoden presentations went pretty well today. Ours didn't go nearly as well as I had hoped, but I think we managed to pull it off well, and we probably got a decent grade for it. I'm just afraid that maybe Spoden and Gemkow felt that I didn't do that much in the skit, and that I got a worse grade than the others. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Best presentation by far: The kitchen sink group. Raymond Mar, you are officially my hero. To see the Chink prance around in a red and black cape and a scythe...now my life is complete. I can die tomorrow and say that I have seen everything the world has to offer. All the groups put a lot of effort into their presentations. The women's group presentation just screamed of production values, especially since a lot of them had drama backgrounds. The Vietnam one was pretty good, but I thought the rap was kinda dumb. Also, the class group's presentation was really cheesy, but it was pretty damn funny. It kinda reminded me of our Vonnegut presentation, especially because some of that group was in my Vonnegut group. And post-war youth culture was pretty clever. I have a new found respect for Monika...

However...I must say that Buck sure has some brass balls. After bossing his group around on how the presentation was going to go (which was boring as HELL), he doesn't even show up for the thing! WTF?? I have a feeling someone's ass is gonna get beat on. Buck, your days are numbered it seems.....

Tomorrow...the day of truth...feeling pretty confident

Quote of the day: "BEAT HER!! BEAT HER!!" -Raymond Mar, while prancing up and down
